🚀 Responsibilities
- Model new metabolisms at the genome scale and new-to-nature synthetic pathways in microbial strains
As an extension, model the fermentor environment for industrial production
- Integrate important quantitative metabolomics data in order to model, predict impact and suggest targets for optimising metabolic fluxes in order to increase production of isoprenoids
- Work in a "design-build-test-learn” cycle with the wet lab teams to test pathways and develop solutions to overcome challenges
đź’ŞÂ Qualifications
Hard skills

- Enzyme kinetics, chemical data
- Ability to interface with the wet lab team
- Bonus: experience in CO2 fixation/reduction and C1/C2 metabolism
- Bonus: experience modelling industrial fermentation
- Bonus: professional experience in startup or industry
Soft skills
- Great team player
- Autonomy, action-oriented mindset, ability to take initiatives
- Optimism and adaptability
